Arizona Offering Limited Time Tax Amnesty

• Arizona State once again offering a limited time tax amnesty program for individuals and businesses who have not filed their individual, corporate, TPT & Use Tax, Withholding, Partnership, Fiduciary and Luxury (Tobacco & Liquor) Tax forms. 
• The program is available for taxes filed on an annual basis, for years beginning on or after January 1, 2002 and ending before January 1, 2008 OR for Taxpayers who file taxes, such as transaction privilege or withholding, on a monthly or quarterly basis are eligible for tax periods beginning on or after January 1, 2003 and ending before January 1, 2008. 
• Amnesty Tax Returns MUST be accompanied by the Amnesty Application form, and MUST be filed or postmarked and paid in full by June 1st in order to qualify for the Amnesty Program. 
• Please note that this Tax Amnesty opportunity does NOT apply to 2008 Arizona income tax that was due April 15, 2009. Amnesty is NOT available for previously filed tax tax returns or expired audit protest periods.
• Amnesty versions of the tax forms must be used. 
• The amnesty period begins May 1, 2009 and ends June 1, 2009.

City of Phoenix, AZ is offering a Limited Time TPT (Sales Tax) Amnesty

• The Transaction Privilege Tax (TPT AKA Sales Tax) Amnesty is for all businesses owing TPT for periods prior to April 1, 2009 including businesses that failed to become licensed in accordance with city code. 
• The Amnesty is offered between April 15, 2009 and June 15, 2009.  
• Visit the city of Phoenix at 251 W Washington ST 3rd Floor between 8 AM and 5 PM during the two month period or call (602) 262-6785 and selecting option 7.
